I co-founded MM, a brand and product design firm whose clients included Amazon, Nokia, Xbox, Genentech, Facebook, and The Battery. I was one of two designers on the original Facebook logo — and talked Timberlake into dropping the "the."
At Uber, I led the global rebrand — named Best Rebrand of 2018 by Adweek, Brand New, and Fast Company — and directed the development of Uber Move, a proprietary typeface spanning 13 languages that contributed to Uber's debut on the Best Global Brands list. I launched Uber.design, the company's award-winning recruiting channel, and led all digital and physical brand experiences for Uber's IPO at the NYSE. My team also contributed significantly to the Uber Safety and Uber Money product programs.
I went on to found Herewith.com, an elder care platform connecting families with in-home caregivers. At Panasonic Well, I earned a patent for AI-driven multiplayer conversational interfaces designed to reduce cognitive load — work that sits at the intersection of where design and AI are headed next.

Currently VP of Design at Bumble, reimagining our product portfolio for the next generation of human connection.
My responsibilities span product design across the portfolio, design systems, and applied AI. I also lead design for Bumble AI Labs, an innovation group rethinking how humans meet, talk, and form meaningful relationships.
Panasonic Well
VP Design & Experience. Led experience design, design systems, applied AI, and research for Umi, Panasonic's family wellness assistant. Focused on agentic AI, conversational design, and generative design systems, aimed at improving family wellness. Founded the Kasa Design Lab for research and rapid prototyping, and earned a patent for AI-driven multi-player conversational interfaces designed to reduce cognitive load.
VP of Design at Level. I led brand and product design, transforming employee benefits into a user-friendly platform. There, I led a small but mighty team to redesign the website, which significantly improved user engagement and increased inbound requests. I also led a deep customer research initiative that helped reframe our product strategy. Although the startup eventually ran out of runway, our design initiatives left a lasting impact on customer and partner satisfaction.
Founder and advisor of Herewith, a home care startup focused on bringing care home for families and enhancing the caregiving experience. Instrumental in pivoting the company and shaping its initial product strategy and design, go-to-market approach, and business model. Secured crucial initial funding to fuel growth and success.
Quoori
CDO and Interim CEO of Quoori. I directed a product design team to create a voice user interface (VUI) for a mobile operating system focused on enhancing well-being and safeguarding human attention. Stepped in as interim CEO, efficiently managing daily operations and leading the company through a strategic pivot to become Herewith.
Global Design Director of Uber. Established and directed the Brand Experience team at Uber, a 35-member cross-functional design team collaborating with marketing and product groups. Spearheaded the rebranding of Uber, resulting in recognition as the best rebrand of 2018 by Adweek and Brand New. Led the brand and product experiences surrounding Uber's IPO at the NYSE in 2019 and played a key role in the design and launch of Uber's first fintech product, Uber Money.
His team Made substantial contributions to the improvement of Uber's safety communications through close collaboration with the Safety Product and Marketing teams. Directed the redesign of Uber.com, ensuring AAA accessibility across all of Uber's web and product interfaces. He led the development of Uber Move, a proprietary 13-language typeface, contributing to Uber's debut on the Best Global Brands list.
ECD and Cofounder of MM. Co-founded and successfully led MM, an award-winning brand and product design firm serving significant clients such as Amazon, Nokia, XBOX, Genentech, and Facebook. Managed a talented integrated design team responsible for User Experience, User Interface, Brand Identity, Marketing, Brand, and Product Strategy efforts.
Peter was one of two designers that made the original Facebook logo, and the one that told Mark he should lose the “The,” not Justin Timberlake😀.
