Uber Design

As Global Design Director, I had the opportunity to spotlight the great work created by all of Uber Design. Through the launch of Brand.Uber, Uber.design, and the book 77 Things I helped showcase a golden era in Uber design.

Brand.Uber

In 2018, I directed the creation of Brand.Uber, guiding the team through user experience, visual design, and build. I also directed the photography and video interviews of the design team and facilities. The site hosted our brand guidelines, assets, and story but also served as a platform for other Uber teams to share their best projects in a section called, “Showcase.” The video below captures these key sections.

Uber.design

Uber.design, although no longer active, served as Uber's primary recruitment channel for attracting top design talent. As the project leader, I directed the site's user experience, visual design, and build, which functioned as a portfolio showcasing the company's design work. In addition, I designed the case study for the 2018 Rebrand, as seen in the second video.

77 Things

Working with the head of design of Uber, Michael Gough, my team had the amazing opportunity to make a book codifying Uber Design’s design beliefs.
